    Update.

    The bodyman called me on Thursday, Feb 07, and said that the car was done. That was 12 days after I took it down, and considering that I took it down late on Saturday, and he didn't start on it until Monday, they only worked on it for 10 days.

    I went down last night to pick it up, and it looks incredible. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, so I didn't get any pics.

    We are having a major snow storm today and tommorrow, so I probably won't get any pics until the weekend, but I will definitely post them as soon as I get some.

    Where are you located?  This sounds like a place I'd like to take note of and keep in mind.  If you don't mind, I'll PM you about pricing information - I'm trying to establish base lines to find out what this kind of work costs, as this is just about exactly what I want done to my 73 Barracuda.

    That was a very fast turn around time indeed. I for one can't wait to see some pictures so post them as soon as you can.

    My shop has had my car for over 11 months and they haven't even finished the metal work.  And it was less extensive than yours.  Thnk I'll print out your thread and show it to them....if they take much longer, it may need more rust repair.

    Wow, that is great timing.  My body shop took seven months and did a limited amount of body work.  Now it's been almost 2 more months since I got the car home and they still haven't finished out the color sanding on the hood and application of the hood blackout!  Looking forward to some pics  :hyper:

    I stopped after work and snapped a couple of pics. Light was fading fast. I will have to get more once I get it down off the trailer and can move it outside.
