Are you going to put the side stripes on or go with a B5 Blue Bumblebee stripe.
The car came from the factory with blue vinyl molding, which is NOT going back on. Have to decide if the bumble bee stripe looks good with the luggage rack. Have an NOS rack to go on the car, so that will look good. With the fenders having the holes for the Challenger and R/T emblems, the side stripe is out. So it's either bumble bee stripe or nothing.
I've seen several 69 Charger R/T's with factory sunroofs, and several A body cars. Needed some parts for this one and found a 74 satellite in a junk yard with a complete setup, so got that entire assembly for $200 out of that car. Nice to have a spare parts supply for those parts.
Interesting thing on these sunroof cars is they all had vinyl tops, but dont code for a vinyl top on the fender tag. The car was built in the factory as a painted top hardtop, then sent to american sunroof who did the conversion. They really hacked up the car puting these sunroofs on, I'll take some pics of the "quality" workmanship. After they installed the roof, they put a vinyl top on to hide the rough work. At the bottom of the vinyl, they used a self stick molding to dress off the top. So no pins for the factory molding on the body like you see on factory vinyl top cars.
