I wonder the same thing sometimes.
One of my best pals says I do it because I am an idiot, he may be right? I believe in my heart that items like this should be free to the owner of the car if it still exists, and I have been able to do that now well over 300 times for people. Over 3000 more items await..........

One of the guys on another site just mentioned something about a donation drive of sorts, something like that would help for sure. I have had to pass on a lot of cool paperwork because I did not have the funds at the right time.
