Lower an inch, or not to lower an inch?
« on: February 03, 2008 - 05:43:42 PM »
:clueless: Thinking about lowering my car a hair with some blocks. Just made up some little wood 1 1/2" blocks between the diff/springs (was thinking 1" or 2" went in the middle...i'd go 1" if anything). No, no, no street driving its just rolled out of the driveway on those.  :icon16:

1st is lowered 1 1/2" (yes the front is a hair higher, it'd be cranked accordingly) , 2nd is as it was.

Kinda like the little more 'stuffed' look  :dunno:
The little rake thats there doesn't quite go with the big wheel look, i think lower and level would be better  :bigshades:

exhaust cutout, it'll clear fine. that road is angle, looks lower than it really hangs.

cant you just flip the front spring hanger upside down instead of using blocks.  about 1 inch difference ?

 :iagree:

Another older (not old) man, picture # 1 looks too low in the rear IMO.

Your car, your choice, but I like it better at the no block height.

Yep.  Not muscle-y enough for me.   :2cents:

I like the look of it lowered a little.  I've never been a big fan of the slammed look (like the G-Force Cuda), but I'm a bigger fan of road-racing than drag racing and road racers tend to be lowered a little more than drag cars until you get into the pro-type cars.  I'd like to do something similar to my Challenger eventually.
