70 cuda 440 6 pack 4 speed (SOLD)
« on: February 03, 2008 - 11:03:57 PM »
I'm listing my 70 cuda clone for sale. It has a date coded 440 6 pack engine, 4 speed, shaker hood, power disk brakes, manual steering and rallye gauges. New wiring harness from one end to the other, New accurate ltd exhaust, new calipers, new wheel cylinders, new master/booster, original black cuda door panels, new carpet, new headliner, new seat upholstery, new dash pad, the list goes on and on. 8 3/4 rear with 3.55 gears. 15 x 7 rallye wheels. The car is located in Redding California. My email is mopar72hemi@hotmail.com. This is a great car, and would love to keep it, but I want to get started on my other projects so at this point the first offer over $42,500 takes the car.

Thanks Oldschool. The car runs great and is a blast to drive, but because of bad weather and living in the bay area (car is at my folks place in Redding) I have only been able to put about 100 miles on the cuda.

Yeah that was my car. That was the weirdest ebay auction I have ever listed. No bids, yet almost 4000 hits and over 100 watchers. I had about a dozen people call me after the close of the auction, but no one has come up with a serious offer yet.

I know the prices have dropped, but I kept wondering that if you kept your reserve but started out at say 15k you may of had some bidding going on .

Yes I would take less. I would like to get more than 50k for it.

I know the prices have dropped, but I kept wondering that if you kept your reserve but started out at say 15k you may of had some bidding going on .

I think you are right. Also I think the pictures during the bad weather didn't help either.

No your pictures were very good ,  Gotta bait the hook and get them bidding on it then the piranas take over and start munchin on it. Your car is very good looking and I think christmas and just before tax time along with people watching barret prices was off timing for you. Them green backs will replace ole yeller quicker than you think. Hang in there :2thumbs:

Another thought to add is if you were willing to take a tad less like 55 or 58 or something you may add to the list free shipping in the states if it hits the 60 reserve. You may loose 2k but still may get what you would take for it...just a thought

Those are good points as well. Last week was the first listing. The last time I sold a car this time of year I had to list it 3 times on ebay. Besides if it takes a little while to sell that means I get to put that many more miles on it first. I just hope I get it sold before the end of February, because if I don't I won't be able to go to Mopars at the strip.

That is a nice ride. Nothing is selling right now. All mopar prices are down now and everyone is trying to get a good deal. Good luck.
