What does the e-body/Mopar world need?
« on: February 06, 2008 - 12:40:45 AM »
Many of you are aware that I am losing my job in a few weeks. One of the things I always wanted to do was start a business of my own, and I was wondering if there may be something I can do in the ebody world, the Mopar world, or maybe the classic car world as a whole.

Are there any parts/services needed that are not available, or in short supply? Is there a part that no one reproduces or reconditions yet, that is in demand?

Just fishing to see if I can find a new way to make a living.

Have you ever had any experience in polishing chrome and trim? Or straightening? I would think that could be a low cost start up. But it is a dirty job is what the downfall of it. I don't even know of any shops around near me for that.

Happy birthday.

I'm losing my job as well, on Friday. Whatever you get into, if you need someone to write instruction sheets, let me know

Something like "440 Source" engine products for SB's.  Maybe it's time for "340 Source"?  Lots of small blocks out there.  Affordable stroker kits and accessories would probably do well.

Don`t know anything about your skills ( no offence ment). But maybe different classes in your neighbourhood or hometown on
"how to...." when it comes to a resto of a car. I know I would `ve needed such a class, about all of the variation of Mopar engines for an example.
