70 Challenger 383 dual snorkle air cleaner question

On the bottom of the drivers side air cleaner horn is a sheet metal transition piece with about a 2 inch hole. I assume some kind of hose attaches to this. Does the hose go to the heat stove? Is the hose reproduced? A picture of this setup would be a great help.

Yes it goes to the heat stove around the manifold , the hose is alum wrapped in a black cloth like material , similar are available repro

Go to page 10 or 11 of the engine bay thread in the Classics. There are pics of my Challenger's engine showing the hose and the area in question.

 Did you get your fuel tank vent tube issue fixed yet?

R/T hedkace, the 5th tube off the vent manifold goes parallel to the gas line up o the engine compartment, then transitions to a rubber line that connects to a three-nipple breather cap on the passenger side valve cover. Just not sure if its used on the 383 or not. It wasn't on the car when I got it.

It's actually dark grey. I bought a few NOS ones a few years ago.

Dark Charcoal for sure. I have a few stashed away as well.
