The small block, and big block k member is the same.
Everything from a 318 to a 440 can use the same creature. Hemi k frame was different

I actually have 2 cars...If you look under the newbie section, i have some of the details.  Since i now have an actual T/A, the car I was going to make a T/A Clone, i am now thinking of making a 440 6-pak car.  That is why i "was" looking for a k frame for a big block. but from what i have found the K frames were the same...except for the T/A and hemi.   i hope that helps guys....also i started the project on the clone...the first pics are at the restoration section.  Thanks for all your help on this...i am sure i will have many more ?s.

Thanks!!!

I have been looking for the Hemi K frame pieces to weld onto the frame. Someone had a while ago on E bag. Now I can't find em.
Anyone remember who it was? Or who carries em?

Still looking for a K member? Mine came out of a 1970 challenger, but with a 340 on it. I'm in Long Island, 11779 (about mid way out).
Drive it like you stole it.

There are a total of 6 pieces needed to mount a Hemi into the chassis.
1. the steel mounts that attach to the sides of the engine. (2) Easy to get.
2. The insulator motor mounts (2) Easy to get
3. The steel pads that are welded to the K member the rest of the assembly goes onto.
This is the hard ones to find and there was someone offering them last year, but I can't find them now.

The alternative is to buy the Schumacher creative enterprises adapter engine mounts. These will mount a Hemi to any V-8 E or B body original K member.
