Hello all
I just wanted to update the progress of my friends AAR.I was helping him put it back together last year, and thats when I found out about my wifes breast cancer. Now that she is doing awsome and we feel we kicked it in the butt.I have been going over to my friends house one night a week and trying to get back to where we left off.He wanted to wait for my help,so not a lot has been done since. It feels great to be back to being the Moparclown again.

It's great that your wife is doing okay, and that you can get back into a normal life again.
The AAR is great looking. One of the cars I always wanted, but will never be able to afford.

Thanks Guys(from the wife and me)
jeryst-never say never, prices are falling real fast and people are unloading cars and parts all over.I have been asked by many about my interest in buying parts from them--cars included.I am watching two T/A's right now and if the price comes down to what I am willing to spend?

Yes, in the long run, wives worth more than AARs. You get more mileage out of them, they make better daily drivers, albeit they require more daily maintenance. LOL. Like the others, I am happy for you both that she is feeling and doing better.

Thanks
And yes it has both front and rear elastermeric bumpers and the back one was a total mess,it was twisted and all of the mounting studs were gone. The guy that did the work spent some serious time with that bumper and making a jig in a press to straighten it and then he made new studs and welded them in very slowly so he wouldn't hurt the coating. And in my personal opinion they fit better than any I have seen.
