    Flash! Just off the press.

    I received my April 08 copy of HR in the mail today and on page 48 is an article.
    The return of AMC. The first sentence says: Dateline: Kemosha, WI. It has been revealed that American Motors will return as a full line, full service car company to do battle with the domestics and Importsin the highly competitive North American marketplace. Complete details of this shocking news story remain sketchy, but leave it to Hot Rod magazine to dig deep beneath the surface...blah, blah blah.

    One engineer did slip a comment about a prototype nine speed constantly variable trans to go before the V-12.

    I dunno...do ya think this whole story could just be a huge April fools from HRM? Or for real?

    I dunno, do we really need more Voyagers and Neons runnin' around?  That's all they'd make with that moniker anyways...  The prowler kinda tanked - a SWEET looking car that did 0-60 in like 8 seconds.
