Found out all over how they are flourescent when light hits them.  Can't even see the red in the white stripe. I got all 10 stripes on tonight and mounted the chrome that flew off the back window.  Shame you cant see the stripe well. It was tornado weather and dark outside, so this is better than a

Didnt close the doors all the way so they could dry over night.  The stripes do line up :2thumbs:

Wow Al, that car is looking great. Can''t wait till you get the scoops on, or are they on, hard to tell with the black? When you get outside on a nice day, you may get a better pic of the stripe, I assume the flash is what is highlighting the stripe.   :bananasmi

I am going to put the scoops on next month. I did use the flash, or rather it uses itself when it needs to be used. I left my digital in my truck in California parked in longterm. I am not familuar with my wifes camera. I had to down load the program to get these out. But yes it sure did change the look of the car and I can see how it would be a seller back in the day.

I am going to have the inside of the trunk detailed sooner or later, I still need to do the over the axle pipes and you can see the tips on the wall, rear quarter and decklid chrome, mount the barracuda emblems on the fenders, install a complete new interior, or perfect original panels, you know the drill....I have this car and I want , I want that, honey I need to buy..... It never ends. I just bought a 70 318 running with a rod knocking for 150 bucks, but complete. So I have a period correct engine for it now.  I also have the original flat hood. I'd say around 5k away from being a really nice driver. But it runs now. I need a heavier clutch though :burnout:

What are we looking at exactly?

The white line down the bottom?

s that a neon or is that a stripe u were talking about?

I dont see 10 stripes....

Im confused... :1zhelp:

The white line down the bottom is a red and reflective white accent stripe decal that goes over the blacked out rockers and side scoops.
There are 10 different pieces that make up the continuous line on both sides.

PS
That car is looking great.   Al -I sent an email about the trunk weatherstrip.

The stripe kit comes in 10 pieces to install. It is factory florescnent white with red on top.  Forward fender, rear fender, door, front quarter, rear quarter. It was the first time I ever installed a pin stripe set. The very back stripe with the curve is a straight piece, so it was tricky to install. The trick was getting the body temp to 70 degrees on a cold day, and useing soaped down water to keep adjusting it till it dried. Glad it's over. :hyper:

Hey Alan,

If you are having troubles spelling florescent, you could always just type in reflective tape instead. :dunno: What engine are you doing buddy. :jumping:

Today I'm building a 340, next week starting on a 440.  The weather is really flaky here. Goes from 65 to 30 up and down. After today of 33 or so, it shows 58 tomorrow the back into the 60's.
