I dunno. I liked Hasslehoff in the original series.

What was the old guys name that was the head of the Foundation? Devon, or something like that?

I think that if Hasslehoff was now the head of the foundation, training the next generation of Knight Rider, it would make a sweet transition from the old to the new, and give an air of believability to it.

That would be a more feesable scenario Jeryst,

Would make it worth while to watch.  It was a neat show in its day......... :clapping:

Weird...look at the bottoom of the page, it's a Knight Rider advertisement?   :clueless:

Yeah, I might watch it.  Not much in the way of car stuff on TV so this is cool.  Yeah, the Trans Am was a little more original but maybe you have to watch the show and see the plot line to see why they used the Mustang.  Who knows.  I wonder if there are going to be aftermarket companies to turn your Mustang into a K.I.T.T. ?  :clueless:

There's a Mini Cooper version, click on "episodes", kinda funny....

Devon Miles - played by actor Edward Mulhare, who died May 24th, 1997.

Yes, Michael now running the foundation would make a decent story, but they tried to make a decent story which turned K.I.T.T. into a '57 Chevy, and that story was somewhat weak.  :)

No I agree.  at least the off-sized stack isn't reversed - that would look awful.  I'm just keeping my fingers crossed...  Wait for my posts on Monday.  :)

That's just plain wrong. I use to watch it as a kid, it was in my era of growing up, A-Team, NightHawk, Macgyver etc so don't blame me for it lol. Anywho, like or not that's the same as taking a Corvette and painting like the General Lee. WTF are/were they thinking!?!? :screwy: Why not use a Corvette?? The Mustang looks "OK", nice and tidy but sheesh, looks nothing like the original, make, model and appearance wise.

It's all a mute point as to what they should have used - the one piece I watched said that they put the idea out to all three american manufacturers, and only Ford took up the idea and offered the GT500KR which wasn't even yet in production.

It could'a been a Chevy, or a Chrysler...  I don't think we can blame NBC on this one.

Yeah. The next thing you know, they'll be doing a remake of "Viper", using a Volkswagon Beetle.  :roflsmiley:

A Mustang cant outrun an Edge?  LOL.  I never had the privelage of seeing any of the originals, I was too busy being born.

As of right now, I kinda want a Mustang.     Seriously, I hope Ford never goes under, I'd hate to see the end of such a beautiful car.   :'(

Good show.  The girl was pretty cute too.   ;)

The only thing that bothered me was that it was only one night.  Really left it open.  I would watch this every week easily.  I hope theyre thinking about bringing it back.
