First drive in four years!!
« on: February 14, 2008 - 05:58:18 PM »
Hey all!!

I was able to drive my Challenger around the neighbor hood last night for the first time in FOUR YEARS!!!  I couldn't go too far, because it still has some issues, needs an alignment and a windshield, but Yaaaa-Friggin-Hoooo!!!!

What a great feeling!!!    :woohoo:

Can't wait to start getting it more wrapped up, so I can start driving her daily again!!   :2thumbs:

 :clapping:   :lol2:

Congrats on that one.  I can hardly wait to do that with mine.  I know mine will take longer to get to that point.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

She isn't the prettiest girl at the ball, but she can boogey!!   :2thumbs:

You wouldn't believe how much water comes out and how far it shoots out of a tiny little pinhole.  I didn't notice it until the thing got up to operating temperature about two or so blocks from home.  Brings new meaning to the phrase, "Driven hard, put away wet".   :grinno:

I bet it felt great didn't it?       I remember doing the same with my Challenger. It had fenders but NO hood, grill, lic tags, exhaust system or even windows. I sat on a small pail but it was about the most fun a person can have with your pants on!! ENJOY!
