Going from warm to cold for a week.
« on: February 16, 2008 - 12:05:46 AM »
Me and the mrs. are headed to Colorado Springs for a convention. I will have my motorola Q but it is very slow. The hotel is supposed to be a nice one so maybe they have complimentary internet service. I will be gone but hopefully still checking in on you nice folks.

Keep safe and warm, and have fun. For the most part, most all 50 a night and up motels have high speed wireless dsl or direct link :2thumbs:

Have fun.  If you've never been there before you will love it.  If you get the time you need to check out Garden of the Gods and the Air Force Academy.

I agree it is really nice area,  I was there in the late 70's and early 80's while in the USAF.  It often makes me wonder how many of the guys on here that I have already meet and did not know it.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

I was going to say - if you're going on vacation, don't worry about us folk - go have fun!  But since you're going for business....  You might need the comic relief provided by the likes of Headkace, MEK, Purple1, etc....  :)

Have fun either way!

eh, its business for my wife but more of a vacation for me. last time i was in boulder in 93 i almost bought a 70 340 'Cuda. was orange over original B5 blue. beautiful  country. i dont know what the agenda is but it should be fun. would love to be able to ogle some beautiful mopar iron and meet some new people. wonder if i were to find a 4 speed conversion setup the airline would let me carry it on? lol i am still at DFW in Dallas. flight delays all day but we got 400 dollars worth of airline vouchers so i guess it will even out.
