We finally took the plunge and bought the Keisler 5 spd kit for the 71'. What we are worried about is our car was an auto when we started restoring it, and we converted it to a 4-spd with the tunnel piece. The keisler kit says we need to clearance another area of the tunnel on the passenger side? Is this true or sometimes does it have to happen or what? Because if we need to clearance that...either the new carpet needs to come up, or the tunnel gets friendly with a sledge hammer
