I just wish there was another King Richard and Chrysler backed him like they did when the King was racing.  Then I would like it alot more.  I agree about the stock car thing.  There is nothing stock about them.  You can not buy one and drive it on the road.  You could buy a lot of the cars back in the day and drive them.  I would like to see them go back to that.  I know the cars are  safer now.  But do something like that on the stock cars and keep them so you can tell them apart.  Gordon

It (NASCAR) really has become a big bore in my opinion. Next to drag racing I used to watch the old cup series whenever I could. But after the late 70's it became  :poopoke: in my opinion, and when Dodge decided to get back in a few years ago I tried to follow it again, but it was still a farce of a so called race. And please tell me,............how can a foreign car become apart of the "Great AMERICAN race", or what is now the Nextell Cup ?  Sorry it is a big joke in about every aspect of the organization. But there is a lot of money to be made for sure. We need for some of the good ole boys to start their own series of real stock car racin, and call it the "Oldschool Nascar Series".   :2cents:  :2thumbs:

I agree it should be back to the old style as I got a couple of the daytona 500 50 years program and it has stuff in the about the past winners and it is a lot different then of today.
