You are talking about your car with someone and they say.. hey what year is your Charger........  My buddies let me have it all the time........ lol ... they will be talking to some about mopars and say hey that guy over there has a Charger just to try and p!ss me off......

I've had that all the time but the worst was when I was asked it my car was the first year for the Mustang!!!!!!!

Yeah I was at a parts store and they were talking about a purple 68 camero then they saw my car and said it looked like a camero. 70 barracuda. When I had my challenger that v844 bought from me, I was told nice charger quite a bit.  Even b body mopar guys say at times that it resembles a charger in a lot of ways, but I told them a challenger was made before a 71 charger and they got it backwards

Yea when someone sees my barracuda and says it is a charger,  but it is good to inform them of what it really is.  I hope they learn something new about our mopars.

I am in West Point Mississippi.  Wish I was in Birmingham with the family.  They are coming to see me next weekend so that will be great.  I hope we get to meet when I am on leave with the company at least.  Anyway we can meet when I get back from Iraq.  I am looking forward to meeting as many of the members as I can after I get back and get my car restored.

So far my Challenger has been called a Charger, Cuda, Mustang, Camaro, Chevelle, and GTO.  Maybe it's the primer.

One time someone asked me if it had a 350 or 454.

Yup, I get Charger all the time too. I think a lot has to do with the emblems. They spot the italic "Challenger" and IMO only register the "Cha####ger" and being as though most non-car folk know of Chargers like the General Lee and Bullett etc, they must immediately think and say, "Charger".

That there is funny!! I get the Charger thing too. What's funny is when I drive my '68 Barracuda notchback. People don't know what it is and often ask what make it is?? Some think it is a Torino?? What's up with that??
