A friend of mine actually ordered a 71 T/A. About 2 months after he ordered it, the Dodge dealership called him. They told him the T/A wasn't gonna be made. So he ordered his 71 over the phone. And he still has it. :2thumbs:

You know what is strange.  I have seen most of those when they were new while working at that CPD dealer and he had a lot of older ones in back rooms.  So brings back good memories.  Just wish I would have latched on to some of them.

I love old ads. You can buy them from a place called classic car images. I bought the Challenger one. You can find them on ebay

Thanks for the pic, Jackie!

Soooo...what's the story with the Challenger in this ad?  Was there really a '71 Challenger T/A made or I heard they took a '70 Challenger T/A and changed the grill to a '71 by airbrush on paper or something like that and took away the 340 Six Pack decals on the side?  :dunno:  :clueless:  :1zhelp:
