:faint: Dang but there is a lot of rice there !!

Casting calls for cars last week at Universal Studios....not that much for muscle but there are a few shots of a Challenger and Charger...

Rich King Casting looks after choosing the cars...they video tape and catalogue cars and if you are one of the chosen you'll get a call...casting calls are still ongoing as they need fresh cars thru out the filming of the movie.

Cars can be viewed here...some are um interesting...

Only reason the Chargers were there is because the makers of the movie wanted to know if they are for sale.  Odds are, there will be a Charger in it, and it will be wrecked.  Lame.

That car has:

# Bumperettes
# Wrong Steering Wheel
# No Hood Pins
# 1 Racing Mirror
# Dunlops (Not BFGs)
# Correct 70 Centercaps
# What looks Like "SIXPAK" Call Outs

Looks like the same colour though. Hopefully they use it.  :bananasmi

I heard about this through another forum and checked its legitimacy on CarDomain for myself.  It'd be cool to have your car used in the upcoming, but it's definitely an Import-oriented film, so chances are we're in for another "blurry after hitting the nitrous" kind of movie.  IMO, that "effect" got old about ten minutes into the old one as did the anti-lag effect of retarding the timing so much that when they let off the gas, a huge flame shoots out of the exhaust tip(s)...:misbehaving:

BTW: thanks for the link to the cars.  I haven't seen them yet.

Fast and furious 3, I never saw except few snipets here and there, seems to be a joke incorporating cars that had nothing to do with the whole fast-furious feel.

They had an old mustang with a supra motor  :screwy:

There was also an old mopar at the end, but I do not remember what it was.

I think it was either Hot Rod Magazine, or Popular Hot Rodding, that had an article about that.
The Nissan Skyline (Not Supra) engine was installed in a Mustang, but for the real driving, they used a Mustang with real Ford V8.  :smokin:
