Greg,
Sounds like you better get in touch with XV and get the upgraded upper A arms or make sure you have them already.

want to give the manufacter a chance to fix the issue before I start calling names True, but most everyone knows what parts are on my car and one of the upper control arms broke at the weld in two places, ending my day and ruining a fender. I am sure there are pictures, I was too pissed to take any.
Two other manufacters looked at the broken parts and said they were out of too soft material also.

the broken stuff

the answer...
I just got off the phone with manufacter. They do have a new upgrade for their suspension and new UCAs will be at my front door when I get home. They were very sorry for the issue, but at the same time happy no one was hurt. This should fix the problem and they also are going to help with a new sway bar, seems between the charger weight and my weight we may need bigger bar for turning...haha

For a second I thought you were talking about your experiences, but I see you are actually quoting Bill Howell and his experience last week at SEMA in his 72 with XV stuff. I bought mine almost a year after he did, but it is still two years old by now. I will call and ask. If they have something better I will definitely get it swapped.

I just visited XV 2 weeks ago and a car they were working on definitely had a billet upper control arm for the level II. I asked about the control arm and they mentioned something about a redesign. The level 2 front suspension display model had a tubular upper arm. Wish I would have taken a picture of it now.

They are offering a billet upper arm or a no charge steel tubular as a replacement. Both are still in the works. Glad I didn't find out the hard way. Thanks for the heads up as I probably would have never caught the failure on Bill's car buried in that thread. I am sure he is pushing his car much harder than mine will be, but I still want a larger safety factor than that!

New flyer release today. Major price drop, added in some options like billet control arms and double adjustable monotube shocks as well as lowered the bling on some items to get the cost down. Steel sway bar mount, stell upper control arm, nonadjustable double tube shocks, tubular rear lower control arms, etc versus the billet stuff  are now standard to get that cost down a little bit.

Greg, how are you gonna connect the rack to the pump? I want to do AN fitting, but can't find any for the 2005 Mustang rack. XV tells me they're out of stock on that part and tells me to get OEM hoses from Ford. Easier said than done when you're sitting in Norway without a P/N. Mustangs are not imported by the Ford dealer here in Norway, so they don't cary the parts for it anyway if I could get the P/N..
