Bob, you haven't quite driven it enough to really start tearing into it. Gotta get a few more miles, let those clutches soak and the additive work through. Once you do that 8's wont hurt. I've heard that figure 8s are good, and i've heard figure 8s are a bad way on 'breaking in' a limited slip (per Dr. Diff i believe it was).
Have you taken off hard in manual low and shift. Just to see how it is, it was shifting early when i rode with you which is why your spin wasnt as long as it can be.
Tact can correct me on this, but would the tune of the engine have a play into shift points from a hard launch in Drive? having a hard time remembering everything but if he's hard on it enough, TV psi will be almost all the way pushing against govenor psi, but if the engine starts to bog down the pump wont spin as fast to keep the TV psi up against the Govenor and you'll get an upshift? That make any sense at all? lol.
