1970 Convertible
« on: February 23, 2008 - 05:55:48 PM »
I ahve my eye on a 1970 convertible challenger described as and looks to be a "good driver" in pictures.  What questions should be asked of the seller regarding the body and convertible top to try and determine the problems that may exist.  I will have the car inspected however, I do not want to spend the money on an inspection prematurely.

Depends on your expertise if you want to inspect yourself and if you are near the car. I had a guy inspect a 71 convertible for me, he took about 200 pictures and spent 3 hours with the car pointing out plenty of "issues" with the car. Worth every penny. PM me and I can give you contact info, he has trained inspectors all across the US.
