I have no idea where he is getting the idea that it is a T/A, no J code in the VIN. The VIN says Challenger with a 383 2 barrel. Maybe "the master" told him its a T/A.

I noticed he's a car flipper and has a sm blk chevy on the stand next to it. He also has a cracked dash pad, worn seats, rusty body, and he knows it's not a t/a he's making comparisons to them. It would be a nice car, but he should of started at 8k and let it fly with no reserve .

I don't know. It sure sounds to me like he thinks it's a T/A for some reason. I sent him a message asking what the deal was. We'll see if he responds.

Good, I wonder what he will reply with.

Didn't the WSS include the overhead console and small rear window from the SE?

I think that the Western Sport Special Code is A78 in 70, the same code for formal roof in 71.

sorry to plug this with the A78 option again, i just am pretty sure thats what it was.  :dunno:

I wonder what he sees there that makes him think T/A??  :dunno: No spoilers. No T/A hood. No side pipes. No T/A stripes. No 340.   :dupe:

I have to say, in 10 years of looking at Ebay ads, when I saw that one this morning, I thought this is about the biggest BS ad I had ever seen.   Yes, some of these cars have become pretty valuable, but I am so tired of every idiot like that thinking they have a 100k car and probably have never even washed it.

I really like this line..

P.S.   OUR RESERVE IS A FRACTION OF WHAT THIS CAR IS WORTH.       THINK ABOUT IT!!!!

Sorry about the rant.

uh, you missed his best quote

'all this car needs is a paint job, carpet kit, white vinyl top, head liner, and to replace the trunk pans (included) to be put ithis car into as close as perfect as you can get it'

dang I guess I need to rethink the word PERFECT...........cause doing the above won't even come close to perfect in my little book of words..... :roflsmiley:

It will be interesting to see where this goes. I hope he posts all the "ask seller a question" comments he gets.     He should have a few.   :grinyes:

Well I e mail and asked some questions. He either doesn't have a clue or he think everybody else in the world doesen't have a clue. He is not sure why it is a T/A. I asked for a picture of the super rare gas cap that is so rare that he keeps it in the glove box for safe keeping and he sent me a photo of it on the car. Yep it is the stock painted twist on like every other Challenger in the world that doesn't have a flip top.
This is actually pretty funny !!! :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley:

He should get the Chally out of his garage, and go back to working on that small block Chevy, and leave the Mopars to those who know Mopars.
