Wow!  That came out of no where, or did I miss something earlier.  I used to watch his show off and on and it always looked like he was laboring to get around.

Never been a fan of Boyd or his work but he was a great spokes person for the hot rod hobby.
He definitely left his mark in the classic car industry. RIP Mr Coddington.

:iagree:  When I got an Autoweek breaking news thing about this I was like no way.  I was never a really big follower of his stuff although he did nmake some pretty cool stuff.

My friend saw him somewhere, was it Barrette-Jackson?  He said B.C. didn't look so hot.  I wonder what happened to him?  :clueless:

I've never been much of a fan of his, especially after watching "American Hotrod", but that's really too bad that he passed away so young. My heart goes out to his family.

63 is young nowadays.  The Hot Rodding community has lost a true visionary and a real talent (even if he did come off as a pompous you know what on his show).  His designs have inspired many - either directly or indirectly.  A lot of what we do on our Mopars today has it's roots in what came out of man's head.  I am sure someday there will be a Coddington Award given out each year that will be as prestigious as the Riddler Award.

Prayers for all of his family, friends, and employees  :angelwings:

I lost a lot of respect for him after I watched several of his shows,  :screwy:

But it’s always sad to when a car guy goes…  :angelwings:
