I'll just post the specs I found, the OD is the outer diameter of the cup (the part the diff bearing rides in that sits in the diff case bore)
These specs are from the timken website: the 741 bearing cup OD is .005" bigger than the 489 cup OD. Whether this is a problem or not I would ask chryco or your shop. They would need to measure to figure out how much interference fit (ID of diff case bearing bore vs. OD of bearing cup race diameter) there is when the caps are torqued.
