What happened to Chryco Psyco?

Chryco, couldn't you contact some Chrysler dealerships or restoration places in the US, and get them to sponsor you for a work visa, or something like that?

I have next to no knowledge in the matter, but aren't work Visas for a certain amount of time? He would have to go back to Canada, then re-new again to come back.

We tried to do that a few years ago with a British guy.  (I met him when he was visiting here on vacation.  Let him drive the bus for a few blocks, his first time driving on the left side of the bus.)  It was a huge hassle.  The visas are called H-1B visas and high-tech firms snatch up the limited number as soon as they come out every year.  I'm pretty sure he'd have to immigrate.  I'm sure there's got to be an easy way, but it seemed like a big PITA.

Why not just come down and forget to go back. That's what it seems everyone else does.
