Yep, congrats Jeff.  It's great to hear that your boss sounds like a good guy with common hobbies.  A boss can make or break a job.  Best of luck with it!

Congrats Jeff!

Driving wont be so bad once you get used to it. I used to drive an hour and a half each way. Get yourself an old beater Subaru. Great gas mileage, they run forever, and the 4wd is awesome.

I start tomorrow (Friday) - kinduva lousy day to START work, but whatreyagonna do...

I'm still getting the cheap wheels.  :)  Remember - I'm only going to have them for a few years.  Then it'll be at least 17's for the car - those will be more expensive and high-quality.  Read - "non-truck like."  :)

The Tires-Plus guy put up quite a fight to get me to work for him - really kinda slammed Monroe, but I trust my new employer and I'm going to take his word over the other guy's.  At least we'll see how it works out.

Not sure when the first check will show up, but sometime within the next two weeks.  My wife and I have already laid out a preliminary plan to start wiping out some credit card debts first - free up some extra cash flow by eliminating some monthly payments, then I'll start focusing on the engine and such.  We'll probably start house-shopping sometime around September - maybe be in a new house before the Holidays.  We'll see.

So yeah I probably won't be on quite so much.  Even if we have internet at the new place, I'll probably be far too busy to use it - not necessarily a bad thing.

I'll let you guys know how it goes tomorrow!  See ya later!

Jeff

By the way cudagirl440 - I'll be off of Queens st. in York.  Not 100% sure where that is, but I won't be there until probably the third week in March as I'll be training up here in Mechanicsburg/Harrisburg next week.  So I've got time to figure it out.  :)
