Louis Vuitton 70 Challenger?
« on: February 28, 2008 - 02:10:30 PM »
No XV Challenger!

I was pretty amazed to hear when one of our customers called me to tell me he saw what he thought was one of our cars in an issue of Elle magazine that his wife was reading.  Well it is one of our cars that we built for a customer and Louis Vuitton asked him to use the car for one of their ads.

I knew this was in the works but had no idea where or when it might pop up.  Pretty crazy.
So you guys can ask your wives/gals to look in their magazines for a 70 Challenger with a bunch of models on it!  They'll be more interested in the handbags, but you can decide whether you like the car or the girls better!

And for any ladys here, I find I like Elle a whole lot better today than I did yesterday.

If any of you (or your other half) happen to see this ad anywhere else, please let me know.
I don't know where they will be running it.

Enjoy!
John

It looks like they probably did - look at the angles of the one with her hair on the backglass and the one on the right front, especially compared to the blonde blocking the driver's view.  Now imagine you lying that way on your car and tell me you wouldn't be bent at some impossible angle or sliding off the car, especially in that shiny fabric.  Nice work, though.

They can't any of them weigh enough to do any damage to the car.  The paint maybe, but not the car.

Actually, the models were all on the car and the car did have some dings and scratches because of it - which we fixed for the owner.

They weren't as gentle with it as you'd hope.

Shows what I know. :walkaway:

I hope the ad agency was generous to the owner.

HAHAHAHA!!! ^^^^^^^
That's good right there.
My wife didn't have to see that add to make me buy an LV for her and she wouldn't accept a knock off either. I told her that we could just put the money in the 'cuda and it would get done faster so we could stop putting money into it, that means more hand bags.Right? She didn't listen to common sense!
She's a store manager for a purse company called Coach, which isn't as expensive as LV, Coach bags only go for about $3-400. :(

That's why I love my wife. She just bought a new bag and it was $30.00. And my cars are done!
