Well, I can collect numbers and make a list - you can PM me what you have.  Or if you already have a list started, then I can PM you the number I have, and you can compile the list.  There's really no need to pre-print something.  Just make a list of tow/repair venues and then either post it on the board, or for privacy interests, PM it to all attending members.  (I'll have a list of all attending members by the time my parts list is finished.)

Thanks, Jeff. I have some friends that will be at Carlisle with trucks and trailers. I'll PM you my cell. And  a list of tow companys in the York area that have rollbacks. Autozone here in York usually has some old Mopar parts available. I also have a good friend in York that is an old school Mopar mechanic and has a car trailer.

Actually I'm really good friends with the people at Advanced Auto Parts on the Carlisle Pike - they got me the carburetor and other misc parts for my ebody.  That way we're not trying to run to York for stuff.

Of course we hope that we won't need to use any of these resources!  I think the best thing to do is to make sure that we have a list of phone numbers for the people who live nearby - myself, you (Jackie) and Michele.  We'll make sure our visiting members have those phone numbers, and that way if (Heaven forbid) something DOES happen, they can call us, and we can then get them in touch with - or directly call ourselves - the tow trucks or parts places, etc.  Of course, all this helps only if a car breaks down in the vicinity of Carlisle/Harrisburg.  If someone breaks down in Ohio, we won't be able to assist all that well!

I'm going home this weekend, so you guys probably won't hear from me, but starting next week I'll compile some names and numbers and start putting something together for distribution.

Michele and Jackie, PM me your best contact numbers for DURING CARLISLE (home numbers probably won't help.)  I'll go from there.

Thanks.

Shelby actually needed some help last year. And some great guys offered to help her.  :2thumbs:

I can't imagine why I wasn't offered that kind of assistance last year. Hell I called Dave and Mek and they just basically wished me luck.

He means the "other" Dave, (purple1). Look, we would have helped you, but we have Mopar parts, not the MSD junk that you have .  :poopoke:

It was real close to the time that they were going to present Cuda Guy with his car and Dave and Mike were all giddy about that. Hell I thought that I had reached a bunch of little school girls by mistake.  :roflsmiley: Only kiddin I know that either one of them would have been there to help me, if like Mike said I had mopar distributor. I have a msd ignition setup and there was a small sensor inside of distributor that got fried.
