3-Prong Door Jam Switch
« on: February 29, 2008 - 10:04:16 PM »
Anyone know who carries the driver side 3-prong door jam switch for a 71 Challenger?  I purchased a pair of two prong switches and just found out today the driver side switch is a 3-prong.  :pullinghair: I checked YearOne and a couple other online stores and did not see anyone selling this.  Thanks.

I can't help you, but I rarely see any on E-Bay either. It a 71 only switch.   :screwy:

No body repops the 3-prongs 'cause they're '71 only.  Saw one pair on e-bag about a year ago, nothing since.  I am looking for them also, going to settle on a 2-pronger and try to make it work.

Any reason why hooking up the two prong wouldn't work?  I hate to cut and splice brand new wiring, but it just a door switch afterall.  The passenger side is a two prong so why not?   :dunno:

The tabs for the 3-prong switch are different than the 2-prong. You could do it, but you would have a little work ahead of you.
