I decided that since it didn't come with one and I plan to display the original window sticker (and it doesn't show that option) that I'd go without it. The body shop really wanted to put one on the car though!

My 70 RT/SE is also a FK5 car but one would have never know it since I bought it yrs ago where it had been painted BROWN  :eek4: by the previous owner, I didn't know much about build sheets, codes etc. all I knew is that I had the 440-6 engine in that baby. I had it painted yellow and added black stripe on hood and '71 RT stripes because I liked that look. Now MANY yrs later I am in the very early stages of thinking about restoring to original condition, lots of helpful info  on this site, but I wasn't too thrilled to find out my car was originally burnt orange, which I didn't care for, but from your pics you posted, Burnt Orange isn't half bad

The color doesn't show too well at the moment - 4 months of dust sitting on it - wait till you see it cleaned up in the sunlight - it pops.

Nope, it was ordered (by a friend of mine) without a vinyl top. What color is your top?

Black, that's why I was asking, wanted to kind of get a feel for what a burnt orange car would look like with a black vinyl top
