should I sell my '70 flat hood?

Ok,
so, I bought a pair of beat up old cudas a year or so ago and am going through and deciding what to keep for parts when I get the one cuda in the garage.  I've got two flat hoods, one from a 70 and one from a 72.  I really like the rally hoods and would actually prefer one of them to a shaked hood anyway.  So, I'm thinking somewhere down the line I'd find a used or repro one for my car. 

So, my question is, should I try to sell one or both of these hoods to someone who wants to do a shaker conversion on their ride? I've heard the 70 hoods are sought after because of the lack of the crumple zone, so I was thinking I'd sell that one and hold on to the other one for now.

I just don't want to wish I'd kept both hoods somewhere down the line, but right now I can't see why I would.

why not , someone can use the hood either 70 or the 72 one for a shaker conversion & the $$ may be more use to you than 2 hoods

Gean Gregory was buying every flat hood that I could find. That may have changed since the release of the aftermarket shaker hoods. Don't know.

With the release of the AMD and Goodmark shaker hoods the value in a flat hood has dropped. I put a very good challenger hood on ebay a couple months ago and the bidding barely went to $100. If you have room to keep it it's worth it to keep it as the value can only go up now that they have reached the low point. Then again a few hundred in the pocket can be worth more than some flat pieces of metal taking up room in the garage.

Actually, they're stashed safely in an empty part of the basement;)  I think maybe I'll just leave them there for now, I suppose the price of just about everything is done along with the rest of the economy.

Rob I see from your stats you are from Marshall, MN. My brother lives there so sometime we go down there we should get togather and maybe share a Coke or what ever you drink. There are not many members clear out here in the boonies to get togather with. We could meet at the Wooden Nickel in town, they should have all refreshments covered!
