Mrs. GoodysGotaLittleRed in the near future?
« on: March 03, 2008 - 09:37:28 PM »
Welp, boughta ring today for my Mopar Girl  Not set on when she'll get it, but not too far down the road. I'm sure Dad will chime in on this since he frequents the board

Little background i guess, if anyone cares  :)

Met her dad first actually at a local car show in October 2005. He ended up driving her truck to the show that day and parked it next to my 'Cuda. We chit chatted, had lunch, etc, seemed like a pretty cool mopar guy. Then he mentioned it was her daughters truck. She didn't end up makin it to the show that day, but sure enough at Mopars at the Strip 2006, that same 1979 Little Red Express i parked next to was there!

Can't beat starting off meeting her at a mopar show and her parents are into mopars  Anyway, we went on dates here and there, given my 'Cuda was my only car, we rode in that. First date she asked why it was so quiet.....quiet?  :screwy: "Quiet" was 3" Flowmaster Super 40's dumped at the rear vs Open Cutouts, which is what i ran at MATS.... :icon16: Fine with me! I took her to her senior prom in the 'Cuda. We atleast went in style! Her only request was to keep the windows up  I also managed to blow the doors off who i found out was her x-boyfriend that night  :burnout:

I've since gone to my first school here in Orlando (UTI), she's still back in Las Vegas going to school. Starting nursing school in august actually. We've been long distance since December of last year, goin strong, seen each other about once a month...longer here and there. It'll be two years with her come April. I have a job setup back in Vegas with BMW when i get out of their training, very excited to get a career going and NOT be 2500 miles away!  :bricks1: Though i will miss Mom & Dad  :-\. The distance sucks, but it does have a good side being we can both focus on our education at the moment and get that through. She'll be a Nurse, and I'll be a BMW Tech at 20 & 21, not too bad?  :naughty:

Thats about it, just lettin the forum know  She's into Mopars, huge into Nascar, and she Bass Fishes...Can't ask for more here  :lol2: :2thumbs:

Sounds like you found your soulmate. And looks like you are getting your lives off to a good start. Congrats, espeically on finding a girl that likes Mopars, Nascar, and fishing. She's a keeper for sure.

I met my wife in a similar fashion. I knew her dad from bowling before I knew her.

Buy her a little gift for her truck, and work the ring into it somehow.
