I can't find some of those pictures either but I have some I can share. The way I did it was I added a second domelight support forward of the existing. I got it from a donor ebody car. It was the correct height and was simple to punch holes in for the console retainer clips. Once the console was located, I ran all the OEM wire harness, installed the extra door switches, low fuel relay, and tied it into the existing time delay relay. After I had it all working I installed the headliner, located the retainer holes thru the liner and popped it in place. It mounts perfectly, doesnt rattle. It rests against the headliner with no gaps and looks factory and is 100% functional. A 1 of 1 for sure.   :2thumbs:

I also install one in my car, but I don't have any pictures.  Origionally I just made a bracket out of sheet metal and attached it to the windshield frame, though I may just bondo a piece of wood to the roof before installing the headliner this time.

Does anyone make an after market harness for these?

I was going to say I have some extras. This is a really slick upgrade that is relatively easy especially if you have a headliner replacement scheduled in the future. The biggest issue is probably finding all the parts.

BTW, Moparclown has a domelight support for sale.

from memory I think it went like this:

1. low fuel relay (mounts OB side of glovebox)
2. ?
3. ?
4. fuel gauge - o/h console cars use the low fuel relay as the 5v source instead of original gauge cluster source
5. door switch
6. plug for o/h console indicator light group
7. ground for dome light plate

I got lucky, I found one in a Gran Coupe Cuda in a junk yard around 1980 for $5, they didn't know what it was.  Went right up to the dealer an bought a new dome light assembly for $15 and had it re-upholstered for $60.

I hooked my fasten seatbelts light to the timed light for the ignition (I have the light package), the door ajar to the dome light and the low fuel, well didn't work.

I STILL think I have one somewhere around here. Maybe when I move later this month I'll unearth it! Until then, here's one, already at $75! Ouch!
