I can't see the pics for #1, but if the condition is anywhere near that of #2, I'd go with #1.  Neither car is original, plus #1 has a 4 speed, makes it more valuable right away.

I'd go with the re-creation, but I don't think I'd give 60k for it. That's nearly a twin to my re-creation minus the 4 speed and shaker. I gave 38k for mine and everything was fresh. And that was 3 years ago when the market was topping out.

60k is a load for a recreation. IMO

90k is high for a nom v code cuda except that the car is black.  Being coded tx9 makes a big difference in the market right now.  Is there a buildsheet available with the car?  

I saw a real deal auto, v code 70 cuda in tx9, with numbers and documentation at the RS auction in Phoenix.  The bidding died on it at 85,000 or so.  The reserve had been six figures plus, but the cars just aren't bringing the money right now.  

You should be able to buy either car for less.  I'd say buy at 45,000 and buy at 75-85.  Just matters how bad you want it.  You have been shopping for a long time right?

No offense, but you have been looking for 3 years and haven't found anything??   What are you all open to??  70 Cudas only?  71s?   Challengers??   What is most important to you?   Color?  drivetrain?  Documentation?   FWIW we all know this, but people can ask all they want on cars, but they are only worth what someone is willing to give them.   I definately don't see 60k in the black recreation.  Your talking about dropping some big coin, I just hope you find something that fits all your wants/needs and don't settle for something less than you truly want.

ive been looking 3 years for a 1970, 440 cuda, 4 speed car. Most impt is 1970, Cuda, 4 speed, 440 or bigger engine, prefer hi impact color OR black. Ive been waiting for the right one to come along.

What do you think this one is worth? I like this setup.

1970 Plymouth Cuda 383, 4 speed, numbers match, california car, original sheetmetal, cool shaker added, rally gauges, painted racing mirrors, rubber bumber, runs and drives great, can't build it for $55k! $55,000.00

What do you guys think of this car? Want a 440, but its a 383.
