Which orange are you looking for Tor red (hemi orange) or Vitamin C (Go Mango)? I will keep an eye out. Also shaker or rallye hood?

Either of those colors. Shaker preferred, but can always replace a rallye with a shaker for $5k.

Ok I see some problems already.  You haven't decided what you really want yet and the more you look, the more confused you are going to be.

You want a 4 speed, then DON"T look at any automatic cars, it will confuse you.

You want big block, then skip past the small block cars.

You want black or high impact then concentrate on that.

Find 3 cars that you like, post up here and I'm sure you'll get great advice on pricing. Th eonly way you are going to move forward is by locking down now what you want.  Find the cars, then start making offers.  The deal will then be the first person that accepts your offer is the car you will buy.  Start your offers $12-15k less than what the people are asking and move from their.

What I want:

1970 Cuda/1970 Challenger R/T
4 speed
440 or larger motor
prefer hi-impact color (orange most desired)

You can replace the rallye hood with a shaker but both orange paints are metallic and matching the paint is not going to happen. If I were you and I wanted a shaker car that is all I would consider if I was looking at metallic paint.

OK, let's see if we can help you break it down some more. I guess engine is 440 minimum but would take 440-6bbl. Good to see you've stuck with a 4-speed makers it easier for you. OK, scenario time, I always do it this way:

If there were 2 cars in a car park. A 1970 cuda and 70 Challenger R/T, both orange, both 440-6bbls, both have 3 pedals and both are class1 show cars ready to drive. Which one would you grab the keys for first?

That's the car you should be looking for.

Just make sure you buy two cars that look the same and bring one home at a time and have the other somewhere else, she wont know which one your driving. :smilielol:
