It's a 1970. The deputy package included a black rim steering wheel instead of the woodgrain, the rear windows were fixed and had plugs in the panels where the crank would have been and plain seat covers. There may be a couple of other things I missed.

Regarding Deputy Challengers, does anyone have any photos of the front and rear seat covers that are proper for them?  I've heard so many rumors that they have unique interiors I'm not sure what's correct now.  Any other features, other than the windows and steering wheel that are unique to them?  Any help much appreciated.  I recently purchased a 71, and i believe it to be a deputy and before i begin any restoration i want to know as many details as possible.  Thanks!

Samuel,
Cool car!  I just love the Deep burnt orange metallic.  225 is pretty cool also.  Are you going to change the motor or leave it as it was in the beginning?

Tokosj,  Use the search engine on top.  There will be many topics about the deputy.  Probably more than one evenings worth of reading.

I also thing the door panels were blank on the Deputy cars...there was no woodgrain panel in them.

My 1970 deputy was even equiped with factory A/C.
Here's a pic I found on ebay once. looks to be original. Looks a little like 70 GTX style

Cool, I have a deputy too! Mine doesn't look much like a deputy anymore, but its a rare FM3 deputy originally.   :jumping:
