Just Met a 1973 Challenger Rallye Owner In Mahwah,NJ
« on: March 06, 2008 - 05:51:05 PM »
I was playing roller hockey when this original 1973 Top Banana Challenger Rallye pulls up. I instantly go over and talk to him. The car is a diamond in the rough. It has rot in the lower quarters and fenders but the rails seem to be very solid. The guy put a 360 out of a fury in it. No A/C or PB. It had a 8 3/4 with 2.76 gears. Bucket seats, black interior, with a console. The guy is the original owner and bought it in May 1973 in cash after being in the army. I also told him about C-C.com.
