    Need ideas for paint schemes/colors for the Duster

    New paint is a long ways away(probably next year) but I need ideas so when I start doing work on it and need to spray the trunk/floors or engine bay I`ll have a color scheme.Right now it`s white on the outside and flat black,probably spray bomb,everywhere else but I looked way in the trunk and of course found the orirginal olive green.My ideas are either Curious yellow or maybe Petty blue but I`m open to any suggestions and stripe and multiple color schemes,only thing is I want it to stand out so most likely a high impact type color and no black or dark color as it`s a race car not a show car so I won`t be spending a lot of time block sanding it straight.Obviously post up pics of Dusters if you got `em!

    What about flat black like the rat rod stuff ?

    You could call it a 'rat roaster' (has that been trade marked?)  :faint:

    i'd have a look at what the 68 Hemi Dart & Barracuda boys are painting their race cars like for color schemes.

    Hey DB,

    Black cars disappear on the race track at night, very hard to see them and easily forgetable.  Not sure if Rat Roaster is a trade mark of Mopar still or not.

    Definately keep a slanted "340" decal on the hood and go with a cowl induction hood too.
