Yes, i live in Hawaii (Oahu to be exact).
To power the dash? Using the same OE wire harness. The tach needs to be updated to modern electronics, then use a Dakota Digital Box to convert the signal received from the MSD pick-up which picks up the ignition pulses on the coil.
The ammeter I am simply bypassing right now, I places both wires on one stud on the back of the ammeter versus on one each stud. I will eventually have it converted to a voltmeter.

April, thanks for the nice words.  Funny thing is, that os the first comment I always get about the car...how clean it is. I guess it has a medical doctors appearance with the whote paint and all :)
