    I agree with Alan, the Challenger sounds like a good solid builder.............  you are correct about the Vin code, it is a pretty rare car with only 520 built with a 383-4.  Would be a great score.  And if it turns out to be the A78 coded formal roof car it would be even rarer. Sounds like a car to chase up for sure. :2thumbs:

    Yeah looking back at it all we went from an E bay guy who didn't take Paypal so you stepped in and paid him for me till my $ showed to you for the red Shutz gun and wand I bought. Then you asked me if I could help you. So I posted an ad in Craigslist for a door for you.

    Farmer dude calls me with one at $250 but is so busy cropping he slows up. Finally pics from him. So I told Kenny to check in with Eric to see if he knew any way of getting it down this way. And you end up with what you wanted from him and saved a bunch of money too. It all worked out great.  :2thumbs:

    I did see your post, and  as I told Eric today, my wife is trying to give me a bit of a reality check. All hope is not lost though. I know the owner fairly well, he would really like to keep the car and is not trying to sell it. He did tell me that he would not be able to touch it himself for another 7 - 8 years. He can be persuaded if I came in with a decent offer which may take more time than I wanted.

    The door was delivered to Interglobal Logistics.

    You should see some of the cars they ship overseas. I saw 3 General Lee Chargers, a 1970 numbers matching 440 6pack Challenger, many other muscle cars and sports cars.

I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....
