Can Anyone Haul a Hood to NC?
« on: April 03, 2008 - 08:24:12 AM »
This got wiped with the last reset. I'm looking for someone coming back from Carlisle to Raleigh, Fayetteville or Charlotte to haul a hood for me. This is my original hood that I'm trying to reunite with the car. The hood is within 15 minutes of I-81 south of Martinsburg WV, which is about an hour from Carlisle. I'll put in for some gas. PM or e-mail me if you can help, and thanks in advance.

Well bud, I can't help you transport it down that way, BUT, as this is a pretty special item, I'll offer to store it for you until you can arrange for transportation/shipping.  My in-laws are down that way, but there's no way they'll get involved in something like this.  If nothing else, next time we went down to visit, I could try and bring it down - except that none of my vehicles can fit a hood in them (and believe me - we've tried!)

Anyways, let me know if I can help in any way.  I've got room to store a hood in my basement - which means it'd be getting better storage than my 440 engine!  :)

Hey, Jeff, thanks for the offer. The hood is safely stored at the moment in the guy's garage who kept my car for 10 years while I finished my edumacation. Boy, do I owe these people  :2thumbs:
