Hi Guys
Just got back to England WOW!!!
This year I went and left the family at home and went with fellow petrol head and good friend Neil Wright- He s more of a Riceburner fan so I was out to show him proper cars!- I think he was suitbly impressed.
We flew out on the Wednesday before the show Via Virgin- a direct flight and one I would reccomend to anyone (we flew indirect last year and it took 23 hous what with connection delays etc!!!)
Checked into our Hotel- The Bellagio - which like most of the big hotels on the strip is Out Of This World!
Friday came around and we went down to Dream car Rentals on the strip to hire a car to get to the show-
http://www.dreamcarrentals.com/ they have some fantastic cars in their fleet - Vipers , Hummers , Porsches,Lambos etc- even old cars GTOs etc
All these were bit over the top pricewise for a days hire so we plumped for an open top Wrangler Jeep which was a laugh.
Got to the show and as always it was awesome - met up with Rob and his family and also Adam and also bumped into a guy from up North (Dean?)
He recognised my MMA shirt so aid hello
Its hard to describe this event - I guess the pics that people have put on the board sum it up- Superb cars everywhere you look- everything from rusty projects to mint Hemi cars, Top Dragsters , Survivors , etc etc
Big autojumble and cars for sale coral as usual but i felt these were a little smaller than last year
anyway I would reccomend the trip to anyone - especilly while the dollars good
Visiting Vegas is an event in its own right- make sure you have plenty of cash though f you are gonna hit the Casino!! OUCH!!!
Cheers
Mark
