My New '70 Vert Arrived
« on: April 04, 2008 - 11:47:13 PM »
Well, after many months of looking, measuring and tire kicking -- and a 13 hour drive today -- brought my new Challenger home this evening   :bananasmi

Ain't she a beauty!    :)

 :wow:  Good for you.

More pics please!
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Ha!    Nothing gets by this crew.

The challenger was brought from the West coast (one owner, 318) and the "restorer"  swapped it out from a '68 Imperial its 440 and 747 Trans) and added the  6 pack set up.   I also picked up the original motor and trans today....   While I was there, I decided to take a few pics of the Imperial (including the Fender Tag) just for the heck of it... hence the name on the pics!

Awesome, glad to see you found the vert you were looking for!

What's the deal with the original motor?  Did you locate it seperately?

Congrats! For Challengers that is my all time favorite color combo. Probably has something to do with that old Roger Gibson resto that put the hobby on its ear way back before people were reproducing paint marks and such. E-body vert is still my mission, just getting harder to find the beauties, or to pay for them anyway. Great job and please get us more pics  :droolingbounce:
