Hey guys, thanks for your props. Guess I did get a little sidetracked there after not working on the car for a couple of weeks. I'm still going to look at the wagon tomorrow - I'll post a couple of photos - but unless it's a steal, I'll probably pass on it. No, Kenny, I can't keep 'em both unless I sell the UAV and with gas so expensive, that 'jest don't make no sense.' It's a constant battle to keep the one I have now.
Spent some time today on the gauge cluster. I got motivated by the article in this month's Mopar Muscle. I removed the lens and cleaned a polished it, tested the gauges (those I could) and cleaned the housing. Word to the wise - it's an easy job, but the needles bend really easy and the gauge faces don't like a sponge bath. Fortunatly, my needles bent back and the smearing on the gauge face wasn't too bad. I'll be spending time on the heater controls during the evening this week.
Had a little excitement in the neighborhood today. There's a grassy canyon just to the north of my neighborhood and **somehow** a fire started. Four engines and the fire copter responded. If you look just above the house in the bottom photo, you can see it making a water drop into the canyon. That house is three doors down from me, but it's around a corner. My house was never in any real danger.
