    Thanks, guys.  It felt good to step away from the car and see a little progress.

    As far as the firewall and cowl - I'm not going to do anything.  I may put a little duct tape or something over the inside of the firewall, just to seal it.  I can't afford to drag it anywhere right now to fix it, nor can I afford to import HemiKen, Challenger Gary or wagesofsin to stay at my place for a week to do it right.  So, for now, I'll leave the rusty areas uncovered (where possible) to make it easy to get at later and concentrate on making it into a driver.  Which is what I should have done all along.  :dupe:  :bigsmile:

    that is the same idea that i was thinking about , i think i will put frankencuda on the road (my car) . you wont be sorry , dont get discouraged by the$$$ some people have here . put her together and enjoy. +the car is worth more $$$ running.good luck too you and happy wrenching! :working:

    Get it on the road, enjoy it then fix it up as you have time and can afford.  That ought to keep you interested.   We need more mopars in San Diego. It seems almost every one has left the state and the rest are not far behind.

    I by no means am a professional body guy, engine guy or car guy...  but why not give it a shot?  cut out the bad areas primer it, get you some sheet metal and find a local guy or a friend who knows what he is doing and have him do your car and teach you at the same time?  You have woked at this car for sooo long.  I know its your car and you know what is best for you and your situation, just wanted to lend some thoughts.  Please feel free to tell me to GFY.

    Greg, Put it back together and drive it around.  You'll be suprised how much will get done once it starts moving.  Once you pull it so far apart that it can't be driven, its that much closer to being sold as a project car.

    Spent some time re-organizing my parts storage today.


    I also cleaned up the right rear interior quarter panel.  I was using a Pine-Sol mix when my wife suggested using ArmorAll Tire Shine.  I was very pleased with the results.  I'm holding off on doing the left side until after I have a chance to rewire the rear of the car.



    I also pulled the rear seat out and cleaned up the seat pans.

    I'm guessing you're looking for all the old pics that are missing from the earlier pages on the thread.  Someday I'll upload them to Photobucket and link to them to replace the attachments that get cleaned out from time to time.
