A note to members
« on: April 05, 2008 - 07:04:28 PM »
I have started listing some parts in the 4 sale adds to full members and residents.  This is just my way of helping out. I offer these parts to members that have been constantly contributing to cc.c by making this site more enjoyable for everyone. I only ask that if you need them there yours, but don't just grab them up if you can't use them on your own personal car. And please don't resell them for a profit. These are gifts from me to you. Nothing else.

Bullitt99, did you need a viscious fan with a new clutch? I thought I noticed you asking about one. Let me know before I offer it to other members

Jeryst, did you still need the 72/74 steering wheel and can?  Let me know before I list it.

I have a lot of stuff to pass around, but I am a person that does things at the spur of a moment so I really don't know what I will be giving away next.
Some full members may need period correct things I may have and would like to make sure they get it.
I think Cody wants a window regulator...speak up
I have low mileage steering boxes, steering shafts, water pump housings, timing covers, just stuff I wont be useing as I get older I am getting tired and don't feel like building anything else.

If you need help with anything, give me a shout, I'll be glad to do what I can for you
I will ship anything overseas to the same quailfied members. That's right free to you to, even though your dollar is more than ours now.
I have never known the value of a dollar when it comes to friends......ALAN

:wow: You've made a very generous offer to people.  That is a wonderful guesture on your part.  It has been a long time since I've had any contact with someone who is that generous.  So just witnessing your comment reminds me that there are people out there who's first thought isn't always about what's in it for them.  Your offer is very special and rare today.  It is appreciated.

Yer making me blush.  I am sure if I really needed something, members would help me. Mr Clown gave me a wood wheel for Christmas, hemiken sent me cream for my disabled hand, others here help me when I gotta have it. Bullitt99 sent me some screws for emblems. Slotts trys to give me dimmer switches. I know I have a fading memory, but my heart is still where it should be.

Thanks for the nice comments, my joy has always been feeding off other peoples happiness. Makes for a better world.

 :iagree:

I've been noticing a lot lately how little I like talking to a large chunk of the hobby, the people for whom the only topics are how rare their cars are and how much they can sell them for. This reminds me of the other people that I do like interacting with, and also why I love this board.
