(My) YouTube Videos
« on: April 06, 2008 - 08:51:26 PM »
I have, in the last few weeks, put over a dozen videos on YouTube.

I've seen others who will aim the camera at the speedometer while accelerating so I thought it would be fun to do some of those. Here are a few:

And here is a video showing the exterior and interior of my '69 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham:

So, I'm wondering... has anyone here made a video of their car with a view of the speedometer while accelerating?

My dad had a 68 with a 472. Our 70 Coronet 440 with (what else?) a 440 would stomp the hell out of the Caddy, and it was no slouch at all. Thanks for the videos, I love cool retro stuff  :burnout:

Yeah, a '70 440 Coronet has a big weight advantage (about 3,800 lbs VS 5,000 lbs); that is a big help!

Classy looking car with nice body lines.  How long have you owned it?

Im sure it had a weight advantage but a 4 door Coronet with a bunch of creature comforts could not be under 4000 lbs. no way. I would say it had to weigh somwhere around 4200 or more. Definitely a weight advantage though. I always heard that some 69.5 motors got "used up" in everyday cars and wondered if our car might be one because that car ran like a striped assed ape.

I do like the lines on it and the thick leather seats. It even has "fins" or a hint of them anyway.
I've owned it since Sept., 2004. I bought it off ebay, but it was located close enough to me so I could drive over and check it out in person.

And I've owned my '76 Cadillac limo since July, 1999.

Yeah, load up a 4-door Coronet with a/c, power everything, vinyl roof, etc and it would weigh over 4,000 lbs. Then add one or more passengers and it's easily over 4,200 lbs.
