Glad you had a GREAT time!  I'll never forget my first ride in a Viper!  Loved every second of it.

They are quick!

I got to make a few passes at Mopars at the Strip. Best run was a 12.2. I know there was an 11 in the car but none of us could get
the shifter figured out! :pullinghair:

That's me in the right lane.

Carl, I can tell you I much prefer the Viper truck to the car. It's just nicer to drive.

Really? Whoa! I would have thought the car would feel more "racy" or something. Have one currently in the RHD conversion shop and have done the research ie: new Viper master slave and cylinder clutch kit and a few little bits. I haven't had it long enough to have a good feel, can't wait. Good to hear especially from someone in the dealership for so long.

Thanks for the replies folks. I've had the fortune of riding in Oldschool's Hemicuda but this is a different sort of well...Beast. Gerry has a fair stable of Mopars and does trailer them to the longer distance shows but they are all driven and he's not afraid to wring them out on occasion. Here's pics of some of them that i took last summer including the Viper, a 1996 GTS with just over 6200 miles on it. The GTS is powered by a 451 Stroker and the GTXs are evenly split between 440s and Hemis as he has a thing for the 66-67 B-bodies :burnout:

Sweet Viper!  That's the exact same model I was given a quick ride in back in the late '90s.  It sounded amazing and looks, well, amazing in the GTS trim. :grinyes:

I almost forgot, i'm riding down with Gerry and a few other folks to the Battleship show in Mobile 26 April. I know he's taking a customer's 70 4sp 383 RR that is just about to be finished; maybe something else as well :)

Get to the states and we'll take mine out.  I'll even let you pick what color you want.

I have put a lot of miles on all my cars and I can tell you the truck vipers are different than the real vipers.  Not that one is better, just different.  I prefer driving the real vipers vs. the truck vipers.  just my  :2cents:

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
