Anybody working on 70 console interiors?
« on: April 07, 2008 - 01:26:15 PM »
Any full member/resident working on there consoles for a 1970?  I have a black one with no lid and have an auto top plate needing a decal, also it was being cut for a 4 speed and works but would need to be trimmed a bit more to look like a 4 spd should.

Al, what do you need to know? Is this something you are selling.  If so I would be interested.

I want it to go to a full member or resident that can use it. It would be part of my spring clean give away.

How much work would it need to make into a 4 speed? My next project in line is my 70 A66 4 speed Challenger and I don't have a console for it.

I can use it for my SE.  Will you send a pic to my email so I can see what has been cut?  Thanks,
Tod

90% chance I will take you up on it.

I will post a picture here. It will work already for a 4 speed. Just where it should be a rounded contoured cut, it is a square cut.  This is where the boot fits Give me a bit.

I'd have no problem letting you have it :2thumbs:post count or not, but you also agree first come first serve. I worked my tail off today and didnt get a pic yet, forgive me till tomorrow. chally6pak has first call, though he may want it. It isn't bad, just incomplete. I will look it over

I am planning on running a standard w/ overdrive in the SE.  I am almost positive I will want it.  Al, don't kill yourself over a pic for me.  When you get to it will be fine.
thanks,
Tod

Not I got--- I get another one.  A member from florida came and got a brown one I had last month. If I go to my other place, there may be a black one left, but I am not sure. If I do get any more, I will give it to you. But here at my home, I am quite sure I got rid of the last 4 or 5 I had...
